The 5 Most Inspiring Moms
How many of these incredible women do you know? I’m going to share the top mamas that really changed my life for the better or keep me inspired and moving towards my dreams.
And by the end of the article, you will find a call to action to start living a more inspired life.
Ready? Let’s dive in!
Leader #1: Rachel Hollis
Rachel Hollis has been a huge inspiration in my life. I love her straight-forward approach and her ability to just connect and seem like you’re listening to your bestie. I have been lucky enough to see her speak twice (so far). She covers a lot in her blog- self care to cooking to style and beauty and the content is relatable. She actually started blogging in 2008 and turned herself into a massive success. My favourite thing about her is that she’s gritty. I remember listening to her talk about starting her event planning business and just figuring it out. She went on to talk about how, if you want something, you can literally learn ANYTHING for free, on the internet. I appreciate that kind of no-matter-what attitude. She also has shared about her family’s adoption process and has authentically showed up throughout her recent divorce.

Leader #2: Sarah Nicole of The Bird’s Papaya
The Bird’s Papaya is a mom of 4. She is so raw and honest and funny. Her blog covers all topics covering health and life but I think she stands out most to me for promoting body positivity and being real about her lifelong struggle with her body image. There’s so much that she shares that is relatable to many moms including her story of being divorced and remarried, having a blended family, speaking up about the issues we face as women as well as sharing her most recent excitement with the birth of Lemmie. And I love that we’re both from Guelph, Ontario!
Best for Mom’s Who: Need a reminder to love their body

Leader #3: Bethany of This Little Estate
Bethany and Art are a married duo with 3 kiddos that share their talents and skills about everything home related. I love their partnership and creativity. I think they are a great example of crafting and living a really beautiful life that you love. You can expect some amazing before and afters, plant based recipes and all things home life- including marriage, parenting and life in general. This family is also from Guelph, Ontario (I may be a little biased!)
Best for Mom’s Who: Need some inspo on the home front.

Leader #4: Mel Robbins
Mel Robbins is a powerhouse mom of 3 who candidly shares how she went from facing bankruptcy, drinking too much and having no confidence to living life full out and on purpose! I was first introduced to her work in 2017 when I saw her speak at an event and she had a massive impact on how I face the stuff that scares me. Mel gives so much great advice on her blog when it comes to following your dreams. I really appreciate her honesty in her story about her struggles that lead her to her greatest success. There’s something about her that I just find rock solid and when I read or listen to her, I feel calm and ready to rise up to any challenge. The 5 Second Rule (hence the rocket ship pic) is an incredibly effective tool that I would recommend getting in your toolkit ASAP!
Best for Mom’s Who: Are hesitating jumping into action

Leader #5: Brené Brown
Brené is another incredible woman who has changed how I look at things. She’s a married mom of 2, research professor and author who has dedicated 2 decades of her life to studying courage, vulnerability, empathy and shame. I know, this doesn’t sound like light reading! Honestly, she’s so good at helping people connect to themselves and shows us how embracing and understanding these parts of us can enrich our lives. She is an expert in her field and her blog shares useful strategies. The book Daring Greatly is one of my personal faves.
Best for Mom’s Who: Are ready to step away from perfectionism and live wholeheartedly

Conclusion
As you can see from these incredible women, it is possible to live an extraordinary life filled with what you love. I genuinely believe that every single one of us has a gift or talent that is meant to be shared. Whether it’s through research, creativity or telling your unique story- there are other mamas out there that need to hear from you. When you craft your days with intention instead of just going through the motions, you will feel a sense of purpose and self confidence.
